Creativity has always been Laura’s natural language—she is a large-scale abstract painter and member of Silvermine Guild of Artists in Norwalk, Connecticut. As a newly independent woman, she decided to take a leap, move across the country, and study at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California to become certified in Gemology.
She still paints, but now she gets to pour her artistic spark into designing fine jewelry that celebrates fun pops of color, interesting textures, and sparkle that makes you feel like royalty. Nothing excites her more than sharing the joy of color with others!
Chloe had been dreaming of being a jewelry designer since her high school days in Westport, Connecticut. After graduating with a BFA in Studio Art from Baylor University, she packed her bags for Kathmandu, Nepal, where she interned with Blessed Hope Nepal and worked alongside incredible women artisans who were the first in their community to own their own business. That experience sparked the idea of one day combining jewelry design with social entrepreneurship, so she headed to GIA Carlsbad to learn Bench Jewelry.
Life had other adventures planned first, taking her through Philly, Seattle, and East Africa! After loads of mentorship and inspiration, the time finally felt right to start a jewelry business with her mom.
