#1. Q: Can you share a motto, mantra, quote or verse that serves as a continual source of inspiration for you?
A: Dave follows a simple credo to always be learning new things. This inspires his drive to continually challenge himself technically with designs and bring in new production techniques. Alisa leans heavily on the wisdom that “the only way out is through” to keep the necessary momentum and sustained commitment required to run a small creative business.
#2. Q: Why is having a positive impact through jewelry important to you?
A: We work to bring beauty into the world, and it is vital to us that the cost for this isn’t someone else’s suffering. We believe that it is possible to not only minimize suffering, but actually turn the resources in our industry towards the upliftment of people and care for the land.
#3. Q: What’s your favorite gemstone and why? (If it’s too hard to pick one, what are your top 3?!)
A: Dave loves Spinel because of the variety of hues and the long history of use in jewelry. Alisa loves Zircon because of its captivating depth and fire, plus it's the oldest known gem found on earth! We are both under the spell of Jade.
