We’re a mother-daughter duo—Laura and Chloe Beaumont—with a shared obsession for all things colorful and sparkly. Both of us are GIA Graduate Gemologists, and together we run Beaumont Jewelry Collective.
I (Chloe) have been dreaming of being a jewelry designer since my high school days in Westport, Connecticut. After graduating with a BFA in Studio Art from Baylor University, I packed my bags for Kathmandu, Nepal, where I interned with Blessed Hope Nepal and worked alongside incredible women artisans who were the first in their community to own their own business. That experience sparked the idea of one day combining jewelry design with social entrepreneurship, so I headed to GIA Carlsbad to learn Bench Jewelry so I could start my own collection.
Life had other adventures planned first taking me through Philly, Seattle, and East Africa! Along the way, I worked with Emily Chelsea Jewelry in retail and ANZA Gems in wholesale gemstones, both of which are deeply involved in the responsible jewelry movement. I was also lucky enough to serve as Editor-in-Chief of “The Source” for the Community for Ethical Jewelry for four years. After loads of mentorship and inspiration, the time finally felt right to start a jewelry business with my mom.
For (me) Laura, my first connection to jewelry was just as a happy collector, and then as Chloe’s biggest supporter while she pursued her education and career. Creativity has always been my natural language—I’m a large-scale abstract painter and member of Silvermine Guild of Artists in Norwalk, Connecticut. As a newly independent woman, I decided to take a leap, move across the country, and study at GIA Carlsbad to become certified in gemology. I still paint, but now I get to pour my artistic spark into designing jewelry that celebrates fun pops of color and interesting textures. Nothing excites me more than sharing the joy of color with others through our pieces that we design and carry.
Together, our ultimate goal is to create a collective of jewelry that’s not only gorgeous but also meaningful. We’re deeply committed to ensuring our work has a positive impact on both people and the planet. It’s a gift to collaborate with the incredible designers, cutters and miners who bring these pieces to life. Generosity is at the heart of everything we do—that’s why each collection gives back to worthy organizations selected by each of our designers.
At the end of the day, Beaumont Jewelry Collective is about joy, celebration, and connection. Jewelry is our way of spreading a little more beauty and love into the world—and we’re so excited to share it with you! We hope our pieces empower you to be your bold, beautiful self, to never be afraid to take up space, and to tell your unique story.
All our love,
Laura and Chloe
